If another company says they're free, you'll often have to do all the work. Even if you don't, the company will force you to charge an outrageous amount of money for each copy because the "free" company takes a huge chunk of the sales for themselves. It's like holding your book as a hostage, only to be rescued by a high ransom. Why else would they do it for free? Basically, they make their money on the back end instead of the front end.
